I am just pleased that scruples don't refuse help to any whippet in need. There are so many whippets out there for sale on the free sites. If we are members of this forum then I would presume we all want what is best for the poor dogs. How can it be wrong to offer support to people who find themselves in a position where they need to rehome their pet? Offering help to those people by way of free homechecking is surely a good and positive thing. If a dog is advertised and clearly in need of help should it be ignored? Should they take an attitude of "its not our problem" thats what's wrong with this world, too many people happy to turn a blind eye to injustice. I just thank god that there is help out there for these dogs.

Lovely to hear young "Otis" now has a wonderful new home in Plymouth, he is very spoilt already and living with three of the larger variety ex racers, Timmy, Flo and Wilma ( Wilma I am sure will teach him a few bad habits )!!! he has settled in really well, looking forward to meeting him in early May when he is coming up to visit us for a few days.

I've just filled in an application form to Scruples with all our details so fingers crossed our little boy or girl is out there somewhere just waiting to come and live in Northumberland and have a horribly hard life with me exploring the countryside and running on the beaches :smiley_walk_dog3:

Gill let me know if you are successful and get your dream whippet, we should maybe meet up close to the border and let our dogs run around some :)

Yes, that would be great :smiley_walk_dog3:

Showed Neil the Scruples site and he just wanted to take them all  Somehow I don't think our dog (when he/she does come home) will be an only dog for long! :ha: We're gonna need a bigger bed aren't we? Luckily Neil works nightshift so it'll only be a case of me having to squeeze inbetween a whippet or two and Lily who is a rather large cat! :P I doubt TWO humans could fit in!!!!! :roll1:
